I feel like this is the world we live in now.
Firefly. Lost. Game of Thrones. To say nothing of the movies (Golden compass, Battle Angel, Star Wars) it’s either no resolution or unsatisfying pseudo conclusion.
Even where continuity is supposedly sacred (MCU, DC (tv or movies)) the concern is always eyeballs and the $$$ that comes with.
