Reminded me forcefully of leaving my love at Pearson Airport in Toronto… Nearly 5 years ago.
I only wish there had been no Terminal 1.

USPS Postal News: Free Recycling Through the Mail:
Postage is paid for by Clover Technologies Group, a nationally recognized company that recycles, remanufactures and remarkets inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges and small electronics. If the electronic item or cartridges cannot be refurbished and resold, its component parts are reused to refurbish other items, or the parts are broken down further and the materials are recycled. Clover Technologies Group has a “zero waste to landfill” policy: it does everything it can to avoid contributing any materials to the nation’s landfills.
The really important part of this is that Chicago is one of the test cities. But first I want to see if I can get my busted electronics (Sony Ericsson v505 with a dead screen, iPod Photo 60GB with a dead harddrive) fixed and thus useful again, as I’d rather give away working toys to family or for that matter continue to use them myself.

From the Leader-Post:
Flying back to Regina on the weekend, I came up with a few ideas I believe would dramatically improve airport security and efficiency, while creating a more interesting in-flight environment.
First, and most importantly, I think everyone should be forced to fly naked without luggage.
Traveling with your co-workers or parents might be a little awkward. Would the flight staff be naked too?

SAIL.IE has an interesting article about a guy who has made some pretty hefty investments in shipping wine by sailboat. I find this hugely appealing for so many reasons.
I wish I had more to say about it but, really I just want to be able to buy some!
Oh. Notice that they’ll be shipping to Canada starting this summer!
