The Public Blockchain is the final solution to prevent time travel. In the distant future when all cameras, fitness trackers, etc are permanently encoded to the verified blockchain, it becomes possible to detect time travel by forks in the chain.

Though I expect there are some meaningful entropy/information theory implications that would probably prevent complete coverage being feasible…
