“Everyone” knows that there are x{50,18,48,100,101…} Rules of the Internet. Most commonly cited is Rule 34.

Apparently Rule 30 is “There are no girls on the internet.” I had always interpreted that as a “stop wasting your time” admonishment to men/boys who are constantly trying to hit on users, who would often turn out to not be cis-female. I can see how it would more widely have been understood as a clubhouse “No Girls” sign.

I’d like to propose a rule i. Something to the effect of: Money matters more.
